HEY!!!
I'm finally back to blogging, and it feels so good. We've had so much going on in our lives lately, and I can't wait to share it all with you.
The puppies are doing really, really well. We still haven't been able to find them any homes, but we're staying optimistic. I love having them in our home. Our carpet is ruined, and there is dog hair everywhere, but it's worth it to come home to their shining faces. It will be hard to let them go, but it will be nice to get my house back. They went to the doctor for their first round of shots about two weeks ago, and they are due for the second round within the next week. I just love my babies!!!
Jared and I recently have had a lot of things happen. I was offered a job in North Carolina (which I ended up not taking) which was a lot of fun to think about. It came down to family, and neither of us could leave. It was exciting to have that opportunity though.
We also just bought a new car! I know!!! So exciting! We bought a Honda Civic (Because our other Honda was just so good to us.) It is so fun to drive, and currently Jared and I are fighting over whos car it REALLY is. It's mine. ;) Just kidding, I can share. That has been the most recent big excitement.
Also, two weeks ago I was released from my callings in Relief Society. I was soooooooo sad. I really liked teaching, and it was nice to finally be in adult Sunday School and Relief Society. They recalled me as a Primary Teacher. I was really sad at first. Now I couldn't go to Sunday School OR Relief Society. Last week was my first week with the five year olds. They are all so sweet, and fun. It really made it a lot better. One of the girls is very hyper and I spent most of my time teaching her to be reverent. Overall, it was a pretty good class. I've decided that if I ever want to get back to RS, I have to learn to REALLY love my calling in Primary. (When you love your calling, they release you from it) Of course, then I will be sad to leave Primary too.
All of the changes that we have been going through have been really big it feels like. The whole world is changing right now. It's definitely a fun experience. I'm currently looking for a new job (it's just time for a change!) possibly in the magazine industry, or advertising. I want something that is a little more creative than the job I have now. Oh, and I want to be able to at least wear jeans on Fridays. Seriously, looking nice EVERYDAY is really starting to burn me out! :)
Things are going well at the Rushville Shelter right now, and they are really starting to get it cleaned up. Not a lot of big changes are being made, but the little ones certainly can do a lot. I'm going to get more info on what is going on there and update you later. This evening I'm going to add some new pictures too... I miss showing you all of the fun we've been having!
